As usual, the Mercedes-Benz crew selected a great location for the introduction of the new C-Class, positioning two of the new cars on the pool deck of the trendy Raleigh Hotel on hot-and-happening South Beach.

They made all us drool when we arrived at the Raleigh Hotel and found a gorgeous Maybach 57 S and a beautiful Mercedes-Benz SLR parked at the entrance. What a great and exciting first impression!

The new 2008 C-Class sedan made its debut at the New York International Auto Show earlier this year and now the South Florida automotive media had the opportunity to take an up-close-and-personal look at the two models, the Elegance and the AvantGarde sport model.

Mercedes-Benz communications vice president Geoff Day briefs South Florida journalists on the new 2008 C-Class.

Sadly, we were not able to spend as much time as we wanted with these vehicles because of inclement weather conditions. However, this short introductory look was enough to get a quick look at this fifth generation of the C-Class and to look forward getting behind the wheel.
