The final monthly luncheon of the year was hosted by Mecum Auctions and featured a presentation by John Kraman, director of consignments for Mecum Auctions and TV commentator/analyst for NBC Sports Network’s coverage of the company’s collector car auctions.

The Rusty Pelican once again served as the site of the event attended by 30 members and guests on Nov. 24.

Kraman’s presentation provided interesting insight into the growing world of collector car auctions. One is slated in Florida at Osceola Heritage Park in Kissimmee Jan. 15-24. Any SAMA member interested in attending should contact him through the Mecum website for credentials.

A video of Kraman’s presentation is available on this website.

Among SAMA business, it was announced that Paul Borden had been reelected Vice President to serve under President Pepe Delfino and with secretary Eduardo Hapke and treasurer Marcello Serrato. The latter three were nominated unopposed. Javier Mota had been nominated for VP.

The officers will begin their terms Jan. 1 as per SAMA by-laws.
