Representing Ford for the presentation was Albert Collazzo, who said
Ford had had a “wonderful year” in working with SAMA members in 2016.
“So really my message on behalf of Ford today is one of celebration and
one of appreciation,” he said. “To appreciate the work and support that
each and every one of you has given us in 2016, not only in sharing news
and information about our products — which in 2016 were very important
to us and you all had an opportunity and experience to cover, the Super
F-150, the Fusion, the sporty and flexible Escape and, of course, the
Mustang, which is our performance favorite.
“You’ve also been instrumental in not only sharing the Ford brand but
also Ford’s commitment to a better world and the things that we do in
our community to ensure that our families are safe on the road.”
